It is said that SUGAR is our heart sweet killer, because it affects our heart most, more than any other organ. Constant use of sugar, in the long run, leads to cancer of the liver, intestines and other organs of our body.
Sugar is not easily digestible. The sucrose present in it takes a lot of time to assimilate in the body, whereas the fructose present in fruits and lactose present in milk are easily digestible. But when we give milk to children with sugar, it gets fermented in the stomach and causes more harm than good and digestion will be delayed. To children, milk can be given with honey or without adding anything.
When we take sugar in excess, it increases the proportion of glycogen in the blood and then leads to substantial reduction, i.e., below the required level. This leads to insomnia, headache, tiredness and loss of stamina.
Tooth Decay
The main reason for tooth decay is sugar. Even though Dentists may claim that by cleaning the teeth after eating, we can destroy the bacteria’s, generally it is a known fact that sweets, chocolates, ice cream and other sugar products will lead to tooth decay. Sugar present in the toothpaste may also go into our stomach without our knowledge. So tooth powder is the best remedy.
Sugar and sweets also leads to increased presence of carbonic acid in our blood. It also leads to the presence of alcohol in the blood.
When a depressed person takes carbonated cola drinks, sugar, sweets etc., the carbohydrates present in it stimulates the brain which leads to a false feeling of pleasure or happiness. But after a few hours, the mental depression returns with more vigor.
The yeast in the human body is controlled by some kind of bacteria. (Good bacteria). But when we take so much of sugar, the good bacteria are also destroyed. Sugar also increases the glucose in the stomach, which intern increases the glucose in the blood.
Consumption of sugar and Vitamin B Deficiency
Use of too much sugar leads to Vitamin-B deficiency and may also lead to skin diseases.
Refined Foods
All kinds of refined foods including sugar lose plenty of bacterial nutrients like iron, fibers and minor minerals while processing. Jiggery or Guar on the other hand contains all these.
People who do not take any sugar at all have the healthiest hearts. Those consuming sugar to their hearts content, get fat more fatal diseases and up sorely with broken hearts.
So give up sugar and sugar products altogether. Take jiggery or honey. Children may be given honey, instead of sugar.
