Let us examine how meat eating affects human beings. Animals like cow, goat, hen etc., by the time they reach the slaughter house, get a premonition that they are going to be killed. This is due to smell of the blood in the slaughter house and also due to the sound of the knives, and they will start yelling. When they are so frightened, the acidic secretion from their adrenal glands spreads throughout their body, including the flesh. The flesh so affected is not fit for human consumption. This point has been stated in the Holy Bible, as below:
“The one thing that you should not eat is meat with blood still in it;
I forbid this because the life is still in it.”
When an animal knows that it is going to be slaughtered, due to the secretion of adrenal glands, its blood will become poisonous and will get stuck into the flesh. Such a flesh should not be eaten by humans. The flesh of the animals that has been slaughtered without their knowing it, as is being done in most of the developed countries, only can be eaten by humans. But in our country, the slaughter houses are filthy and the animals will be seeing with their eyes what is happening. The secretion from the adrenal glands spreads throughout the body of human beings also, when we are frightened, angry or sorrow and that is why in such a situation our eyes become red.
Another point is the fact that in the body of animals and human beings, a cleaning process will be going on till they are alive and kicking. When the body is dead, this cleaning process will be abruptly stopped and the flesh will start putrefying i.e., from the body, the excrements and urine will be coming out only till the body is alive. We get the meat only after 6 to 8 hour of slaughter. So from the time of killing, there will not be any cleaning properly assimilated in the human body. We can also see that lion, tiger etc eat only fresh meat and the leftovers are left to the fox etc. when we eat meat, we take in the waste matters like the mucus, the urea, the uric acid, the cell waste and the tissue waste. These are poisons. Our internal organs will not relish them.
